If only I could overlay my maps from mob-rule.com and Travel Mapping on top of each other in Google Maps...
That may be too much of a good thing to wish for.
Just discovered that the former is available. Goog has been changing their API interface too often for TM to keep up...
My knowledge on manipulating GoogleMaps is very thin indeed. How on Earth do you export the mob-rule map to overlay it?

Is something not working in TM?
Hold on a minute, Froggie, were you just talking about how you can view your mob-rule map in Google Maps? I've been doing that all along.
What I'm wishing for is to take it as a GIS layer and layer it over the TM map and then even another Google Map I have of places I want to visit. Layer them all on each other into one "super map." :D
Given that TM only approximates the route, I'm not sure if combining it with mob-rule would be 100% accurate.
Pfft. TM is already using Google Maps. Good 'nuff.
It would be pretty good to see them overlapped, though, so you could give a quick look to see if any of your TM-plotted travels entered a county that you didn't have marked as visited on mob-rule.
I'll just have to print them all out on transparencies. :D
Import Wikipedia KMLs into Google Earth or Google My Maps and snip them as needed.
Google My Maps is a really neat web-based tool. I use it to track my transit clinches: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1oxn4Zh08XB1DwESIUEdso8lxE4I

Heh. Yeah, I suppose I could go through the trouble of recreating my mob-rule and TM maps on my own and do that. It's just a pity that there isn't an "Export as KML" button!
