That combined with the "MO/NE US159" suggests a "let's just grab this state real quick" trip. That was also the reasoning behind my PA/WV I-79 crossing; my family hadn't yet been to the Keystone State at the time and we were already in the Morgantown area, so we (with me as a 7-year-old passenger) just hopped on I-79 and turned around at the first PA exit.
