I don't normally announce these things here, but since I'm logged in  :-D ... The November/December 2013 updates to California Highways (that is, the web pages at www.cahighways.org ) have been just been completed. Details are at http://cahighways.org/wordpress/?p=8892 (I post these things on my blog under the "roadgeeking" category).

As a reminder: If you have updates that you think I would be interested in for the pages, please email them to me. I may not always find them on these forums (and I no longer check m.t.r). I'm particularly interested in routing changes, construction completion, and historical routing information that can be confirmed. Also, if you have updates to my pages of links to other highways, please send them along -- they are likely horribly out of date.

I'm not going to burden the good folks at AAroads with the bimonthly updates. I announce them on my blog, as well as on the California Highways facebook group. I return you now to your usual discussions.

Hi Daniel,

I think I can speak for many when I state that many of us appreciate your site for the service it provides: monitoring the latest in legislation that modifies the California highway system and keeping track of various planning and construction projects around the state. To the extent that many of us don't monitor legislation with the proficiency you do, I for one would appreciate bimonthly updates posted here on AARoads Forum so we know what has changed in the state highway system. The most recent updates on your site included several things which caught me unaware. Thank you all your effort to keep your site updated and reflective of the most recent legislation.

Regards,
Andy
