Sinclair gas station in California?

I noticed the other day that there is now a Sinclair gas station here in Sacramento at the corner of El Camino and Mission Avenues.  It's a rebranded station; it was a Shell that later became an independent station and it has operated as such for much of the last 30 years.

This was the first time I have ever seen the Sinclair brand here in the Golden State.  I did a quick Google search and found that there is at least one in southern California, maybe more.  Does anybody have any idea how long Sinclair has been in California or if they have plans to expand?

Looking at the Sinclair website station locator, there are several other locations:

502 North Irwin Street, Hanford
690 Hammat Avenue, Livingston
14749 North Thornton Road, Lodi
3130 North Broadway, Los Angeles
2500 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo
1705 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento

The one in Los Angeles appears to be a rebranded Valero.

Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.
Visit scenic Orleans County, NY!
Male pronouns, please.

There are Sinclairs in the Tulsa metro and there used to be one in Knob Noster, MO (I'm not sure if it's still there or not, as it was located on an orphaned stretch of MO 23.)

And also typically slow to edit and correct itself, when said places close...information isn't written in pencil and pen on the internet, it uses the equivalent of permanent ink.

Not true, just like pencil and pen, it merely requires someone to actually go back and actually do the editing.

Woah! That's heavy lifting for most folks; easier to just let the domain name expire, if it's not a wiki, a paid webmaster (er, content-provider), or a devoted website with an angry-mob following.
