It's tough for me since my wife isn't really a roadgeek, and so I always end up going alone and feeling guilty about leaving her behind, ESPECIALLY over two-day meets.  Also, I usually don't have the funds and/or available time off from work to travel, so I end up sticking VERY close to home.  (When I did Corridor H, I lived in Maryland.  In 2018, I started working in the Philly area and commuting weekly from Maryland, which put a huge damper on ALL of my hobbies, but Golden Spike was too rare an opportunity to pass up.  I moved to Philly in late 2021.)

Depends on where.  Michiganders and western New Yorkers might get it.  Albertans might not.

Kids have killed me traveling anywhere far for a road meet, and since the southeast is a road meet desert these days, it means little to no road meets for me.
