Announcing the 2023 Bay Bridge Run on Sunday November 12 and your opportunity to join the official team of road enthusiasts (aka “Team ROADS” ) led by co-captains Dan ("roadwaywiz95") & Laura ("Laura")!
The Bay Bridge Run is a 10K (6.2 miles) event that takes participants across the eastbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge between Annapolis and Stevensville on Kent Island. Folks of all abilities are welcome, however please be aware that there is a time limit of two hours (meaning that one must average at least 3.1 mph, or about average walking speed).

Most people are going to want their race-day packet (including the complementary shirt and race bib) mailed to them, which is $25 per packet. (There *are* opportunities to pick up these packets in person prior to race day if you’re a more local participant.) You may also be parking at one of the lots affiliated with the event. For example, I (Dan) purchased a parking pass for the “Gold Lot” in Kent Narrows for $20.
If you would like to sign up for the event, please feel free to join our team! During the sign up process, click on “Join an Existing Team” and select “Team ROADS” from the dropdown. You will need to enter our password in order to officially join the team. Our password this year is ’buttoncopy69nice’. Should we have at least 15 members of our team, all entrants will receive a $10 discount. If you’d like to be in the same wave as us, please select ’Wave G’ (start time is 8:30 AM).
