Largest Concurency of One Type of Route

Piggy backing off this old thread I found:

I was curious of what the largest concurrency of one single type of route there is.  Driving through Brownwood, TX this weekend made me think of this subject because:

I personally can't remember seeing more than 4 US highways concurrent at the same time, plus this one gets bonus points for wrong-way concurrency.

So that's the game.  What is the largest concurrency out there of one type of road.  It has to be only that type of highway.  If it is 5 US Highways and 1 state highway, it's disqualified.  Of course it goes for interstates as well.  It could also be 7 state highways.  As long as all are the same classification.  Also, states that have primary and secondary state highway systems, they have to be all primary or all secondary.

For interstates, most likely something in FritzOwl's plan with like 7 concurrent interstates. There used to be 2 concurrencies of 3 interstates before 2014, I-39/90/94 and I-55/64/70, but after I-70 got rerouted, only the former remains.

For US routes, there's a concurrency of 4 routes in US 27/42/52/127 (5 routes if you go back historically and add in US 25) in Downtown Cincinnati. Not sure if this is the most, most likely not.

Edit: Went searching for images of signage of the US 25/27/42/52/127 concurrency, since that seems to be the only example of a 5 route concurrency of solely US routes in this thread so far, but couldn't find any since US 25 was decommissioned in Ohio almost 5 decades ago. If anyone have one, post it here.

The one that comes most readily to mind to me is the four US routes concurrent north of Asheville. US 19, 23, 25, and 70.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I'm pretty sure the most Virginia has is three US routes: US 15, US 58, and US 460 are concurrent in Suffolk.

Just state routes will be interesting to see what we find. Because it will nearly knock most examples out of Georgia since those massive 6 and 7 route concurrencies are always a mix of state and US highways.

For Louisiana, the most state routes together are a few examples of 3's.

I stand corrected.

And this could also include a wrong-way concurrency, because technically, you are going WEST on 42 not south as this location is signed.

The Madison Beltline has US 12/14/18/151 for a stretch.

And used to have WI-13 as well.

I'm assuming that's an historical example based on that US 63 doesn't enter TN anymore

so we have 2 historical quintuple US route examples in this thread now, as a recap

US 61/63/64/70/79 in Memphis
US 25/27/42/52/127 in Cincinnati

Not sure what US 50's alignment in Cincinnati was before it got routed on the FWW. It may have been on the concurrency depending on what the routing is. If so, it's a sextuple. Edit: Just checked a couple of maps, US 50 wasn't part of the concurrency. It was concurrent with US 22.

There is I-41/43/894 around Milwaukee. There soon will be I-69/74/465 around Indy

Of course, those concurrencies, as well as the former 55/64/70, also have US routes on them. 39/90/94 does not, as US 51 is not concurrent on this segment

I speak for Wisconsin . . .
Interstate: 39/90/94 and 41/94/894
US: 12/14/18/151
State: 11/69/81 (Monroe), 13/16/23 (Dells), 22/49/54 (Waupaca)

I think the most concurrent routes of the same class nationwide is on I-465. IIRC it's US 31, 36, 40, 52, and 421.

Another quintet used to be US 1-21-176-321-378 (plus SC 215) in Columbia SC in the early 50s when there was still only 1 bridge across the river leading to the west/south

Memphis used to post a quintet even though I believe US 72 should have been posted as TO...
51-64-70-72-79

A second example of the same quintet is here (zoom way in)
