Description: This assembly was just recently installed in Crestwood, KY. Why anyone would follow this route as an alternate for I-71 is beyond me. It follows a circuitous path through suburbs, at times on two lane roads and with plenty of stop lights and stop signs. It would have to be a total closure of the interstate, at just the right spot, to make this at all valid as an option. Even then, there are more direct routes to I-265 than what ALT I-71 follows.
