I found a KY 482 photo in my latest from my trip out there. That moves my lowest unphotographed route marker by just a few, to 487, with several more higher in the high 400s.

I finally got a Highway 1 picture! Granted, the quality isn’t great, but it’s the best I could do in short notice. Next up on the list is 2.

I got a picture of I-25 in Albuquerque on my last trip to Nevada.



So I was going through my archives looking to see what the next highest number is. My first answer in the "lowest route number you haven't been on" thread was 38. So I went out of my way to go on a special trip to clinch OK-38. I could've swore I took a picture. But I'm not finding it on any of my devices.

...So my current answer is 38. For now. I'm going to look again. Probably.

I’m pretty sure for me it’s 2. I have several pictures of US-1, especially the cutouts in Alexandria (sadly, only one left last I knew), but I haven’t been on VA-2 in over 35 years and I wouldn’t have had the opportunity for a picture the last time I was through that area (1985, a trip to Fort AP Hill for a day at the National Scout Jamboree). Last time I was on MD-2 I was en route to a wake and wasn’t thinking much about the roads.

Got a few pictures of MD-5 coming back from Ocean City, and got pictures of VA-7 and MD-8 on the way there. My new lowest is 9.

I got a picture of SC-9 earlier, bringing my new lowest to 11. I can get that by going to Harrisonburg or Staunton when I get back home.

My number jumps up 20 spots to 31 after I got pictures of SC-11, US 19, and US 23. The closest Route 31 that I know of is VA-31 near Williamsburg.

I guess Hunty2022's next trip to Virginia Beach will be via US 460 instead of I-64 to get a VA 31 shield in Wakefield.   ;-)
