I'll take a shot.

Don't know the street name (Maybe Colorado Blvd.) in Pasadena, CA, but would it be the bridge that crosses the valley just to the south of The Rose Bowl?

You got it, its the Colorado Boulevard arch bridge above the original bridge, both over the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena. http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=ppqs3m54khmg&style=b&lvl=1&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&scene=31589564&encType=1
