The truss just to the north is an old alignment of US 169.  Is this a toppled bridge abutment?  The roads on either side line up with it.  This bridge will be featured at the Oologah meet.

Not being from the area, I cannot confirm it. But, you are right in that it does seem to line up with a possible even older alignment. But, it also looks narrow enough on the top to have been for a a rail crossing. I'd be curious to see if anyone can sure this up.

Historic Aerials has topos that show the older bridge alignment where the toppled pier is located...

What Oologah meet?  When is it?

Either late September or October.  A date hasn't been set.
