Thats a good lookin US shield on the BGS's   :clap: The old spec New Mexico I- shields are not too bad either.

I agree, that signage is truly amazing.  I especially like the Business US 54 shield designed like an interstate business shield.

The only consistent thing about New Mexico highway signage is its inconsistency.  I've observed this for years, and yet every time I'm in the state, I am freshly astounded by some of the things they do.  I can only conclude that either NMDOT doesn't have any signage standards, or else their employees and contractors are not familiar with the standards.

I found some button copy on Old 66/Central Ave at I-40 west of Albuquerque in October 2007.  Hopefully it is still there in 10 days.
