Something that happened

A few years ago, I was headed to work in the wee hours of the morning, headed down I-85 near Atlanta. I came upon this variable message sign, and I noticed that in addition to the normal text in yellow or off-white, there was a bit of green, too. A malfunction, perhaps? I didn't even know they could do green. When I got closer, I saw that the green was a dick and balls logo. Ha, great!

After that, I always look closely at that sign whenever I pass it, even though it was highly unlikely that whoever hacked it would hit the same spot again. You never know, though.

So, about a month ago, I was driving through again at about 3am, and... the dick and balls logo was back! And, today, during the morning rush hour, in view of thousands of people, it was back again! 

I can hardly wait for tomorrow.

OK, it skipped Thursday, but it was back again today at rush hour, taking the place of the last A in ACCIDENT 5 MI AHEAD. I posted a photo in the Road Enthusiasts Facebook group. The way things are going, I or someone may be able to get a much better one soon.

"At some point" was 3am this morning.  After it was displayed to thousands of slow-moving motorists at rush hour per my last post, I assumed that GDOT would've brought the hammer down. Apparently not.
