Seattle creates priority parking for musicians

Not sure if this goes here or in somewhere like Traffic Control, but here goes...

Seattle is taking new steps to make it easier for musicians to get to their gear in and out of their gigs with the launch of a new musicians' priority parking program.  Five popular venues around the city are taking part in the pilot program.  The city is modifying a few unloading zones with signs reading "Priority Musicians Loading & Unloading".   While there is no official enforcement with the musicians' priority parking program, the hope is that others will make room for musicians.

I concur! More cities should get on board with this, especially Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Nashville, Austin and New Orleans.

Cellists, too.  We often have wheels on our cases, but using them on uneven sidewalks and streets can really jar the instrument.  Hopefully, this catches on elsewhere.
