Interesting.  How often does a scenario exist where all the route shields for each route are wrong?

That's not the 322/743 intersection, but both are in the Hershey area. The PA 322 shield (there's only one of them) is the westbound reassurance marker after the Homestead Lane roundabout. The US 743 shield is on southbound Cocoa Avenue after the route turns off Hersheypark Drive. The northbound 743 marker on Hersheypark Drive is correct.
Mileage-based exit numbering implies the existence of mileage-cringe exit numbering.

US 115 for FL 115 in Jacksonville:

shadyjay

A couple in CT:

CT 68 in Wallingford.  CT 5 should be US 5:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4850359,-72.8065682,3a,27y,305.08h,82.53t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sh5SNRYRTH-nwPTV11P0PQg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

An interesting note:  signs just west of this intersection were recently replaced.  The CT 5 shield eastbound was replaced with a new... CT 5 shield!

But it's okay, 'cause a few miles up the road in Meriden, CT 15 gets promoted to a US route:
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.5440273,-72.7848899,3a,22.1y,40.02h,84.46t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sc5aB3nYvTsSn_27vU8v1Tw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Didn't have a chance to get a picture of my own, but there's a "JCT US 14" assembly at the south end of WA 221, junction of WA 14 in Paterson.

VA 323 is this way, but if you want the "better" version of it...psst, follow me!

US 87 in Texas?  Yes the US route does go through Texas, but it does not travel into Galveston.

This is one of two errors as another US 87 shield is along Seawall Blvd. and Ferry Road.

AFAIK US 87 wasn't extended Northeast from Port Lavaca on the last AASHTO meeting. It should be TX 87.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Since at least August 2016, when I first grabbed a picture of it.  It doesn't seem all that hard to fix.
Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

I'm pretty sure that there's a US-23 shield - either reassurance or at the junction of a county road - somewhere along WI-23 from Fond du Lac to Sheboygan, but I can't find it now.

Even more odd/bizarre is that if one looks at the prior GSVs; the lower sign listing the distance to the next exit fluctuates between 10 and 13 miles.

This isn't really the right thread for these photos, but there isn't a better one I know of and it doesn't merit a new thread. As some of you know, my dad is in his last few days, but his car needed the state inspection before Sunday and he was agitated about making sure it got done, so I took it for him this afternoon since he can't drive. It's a really nice Volvo with an incredible high-rez screen in the dashboard.....that happens to have an interesting choice of route shield for Virginia primary and secondary state highways:

"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

Saw too erroneous signs driving across northern Wisconsin recently:

US 63 signed as WI 63 - https://goo.gl/maps/16mbcriKFhdf8m9HA

US 8 signed as WI 8 - https://goo.gl/maps/jH9ErLSpFtX2LP3q6

First of all, prayers for you and your family during this difficult time.

Second, I've seen enough GPS errors posted that a "GPS errors" thread would probably be justified.

I applaud roadman65's effort to get this photo in a rainstorm. Here's the same sign on a dry day:

"Officer, I'm always careful to drive the speed limit no matter where I am and that's what I was doin'." Said "No, you weren't," she said, "Yes, I was." He said, "Madam, I just clocked you at 22 MPH," and she said "That's the speed limit," he said "No ma'am, that's the route numbah!"  - Gary Crocker

I just saw these beauties in Escanaba, Michigan yesterday. One was posted at the intersection of M-35 and US 2/US 41 and another a few blocks to the north at 9th Avenue N.

Unless AASHTO approved some implied ferry route from the southeast corner of Lake Michigan to the northwest corner, these signs should say M-35.

So many miles and so many roads

I've been on that road dozens of times going up to the cabin and somehow I've never noticed those signs.  Good find.
Left for 5 months Oct 2018-Mar 2019 due to arguing in the DST thread.
Tried coming back Mar 2019.
Left again Jul 2019 due to more arguing.

Still see after all these years NYSDOT has US 209 on US 9W signed as NY 209.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.
