A category is needed for most interesting roads.  We focus so much on clinching in the road community that I think we tend to forget a lot of go for the unique, hazardous or weird stuff that isn't necessarily a signed highway.

I like "clinching" those as much as anything else.  It can be the rhythmic gymnastics to my balance beam.  I'm trying to clinch all of the highest passes in Colorado with my Jeep too.

I think the only I have left for the Sierra Nevada Mountains is the Henness Pass Road.  From what I'm to understand I'll need high clearance and 4WD to get through the entire thing.
