Title: Old videos of bridges
Post by: Sctvhound on August 10, 2017, 10:56:34 AM
I found this fascinating. Andrew on YouTube posted some videos of bridges dating back to the 1970s.

This is a 1974 video of bridges in NJ, NY, and PA. Notable bridges in this include the Pulaski Skyway, both levels of the GWB, and the Commodore Barry Bridge.

This video from early '75 includes all 48 bridges on the Ohio River.

This video from '76 includes more southern bridges. You see the bridges in Wilmington, NC, the two big bridges in Charleston (the Grace and Pearman), and several videos of the bridges in Jacksonville, among many others.

Enjoy!

Great finds...but the camera work is jarring, to say the least. After five minutes of the first video I had to stop, I couldn't take it. I'll have to watch it in five-minute increments.

I only watched the first one, but that was cool!
