Post by: mightyace on November 24, 2009, 07:02:34 PM
I found this lot of license plate for sale on shopgoodwill.com

http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=5500408

The auction is up at 5pm Pacific Time tomorrow.

DISCLAIMER: I have no affiliation with Goodwill nor are attempting to promote their website.  I'm just posting this as I know a number of our forum members are plate collectors.

I think so, but only if the license plate is expired and is replaced with a newer one. And obviously, these look expired.

It is not illegal to sell license plates. More information on collecting license plates is found at the ALPCA web site (http://www.alpca.org/).

in general, they have to be three years old and of a design that is not currently in use.
