Opposite of the "Minor Things That Bother You" thread. Here are some of mine:

- When you pay for something with a gift card, and left on the card afterwards is just a couple of cents (or nothing)
- 75 cent large drinks at Buc-ee's
- When you're playing around with an instrument and you accidentally discover a riff or melody to your favorite song

I've been buying certified pre-owned cars for years now, but there is something to be appreciated about "new car smell"

CoreySamson

On the topic of smells, I like the smell at sports equipment stores. Must be the smell of new shoes or something.

I miss this. It's tougher going back to sleep as I get older.

On the other hand, I do feel a tiny bit victorious if I wake up 15-45 minutes early and if I feel rested. I feel like I beat the system and now I can do whatever I want.

hotdogPi

When I turn off the alarm after waking up early, I sometimes forget to re-enable it the next day, unfortunately.
