Lately in Florida in the eve both Venus and Jupiter have been standing out very much.
Last week the Moon, Venus and Jupiter were in conjunction. Planets align on a regular basis.
Too cloudy here in NY...and yet I have friends that want to come up here for next year's solar eclipse...

The conjunction was visible enough in Central California that my wife even noticed it.

I noticed the conjunction too. I knew one of the "stars" was too bright it could only be Venus, but I didn't realize the other (Jupiter) was a planet as well.
