Can we possibly require a rule that for metric posts, the poster must specificy whether the limit ends in 0 or 5?

I only request this because metric limits have about twice as many options (30 all the way to ~140) and it's going to take a lot longer if the metric limit is not something expected (multiple of 10).

That's actually a good idea, I will put it in place.

Correct. VA-168 Campostella Rd in Norfolk, VA. I will say from personal experience, nobody is doing 30 mph. The city of Norfolk has 30 mph posted on many roads around and outside of Downtown stretching for good distances in some instances, particularly south of the Elizabeth River. On major arterials like this, and nearby Indian River Rd, the speed limit automatically increases as soon as you enter neighboring Chesapeake. On Indian River Rd, it jumps to 45 mph, and on this, it goes to 35 mph passing through a more developed, residential area (where the limit is slightly more appropriate), then immediately to 45 mph south of there.

IMO, this segment in question could easily be at least 40 mph.

The Campostella Bridge across the Elizabeth River is also 30 mph, where vehicles are mainly doing in excess of 45 mph, many 50-60 mph. The nearby I-264 Berkley Bridge is also 35 mph, where actual speeds are usually above 50 mph.

Off-topic: the fence in the median reminds of the UK. I see it in BC as well. Is this common around the Norfolk area?

Can't say that I've really seen them anywhere else around here.

Looking closer, it appears this median fence is only between the two intersections on the Street View. There must have been some issue with pedestrian crossings at this particular location that warranted the fence.

It's hard to make out the scale from that image, how long is that straightaway, that would determine how rational the 25 mph maximum limit is.
I've been on that road the speed limit should be 40 not 25.

I couldn't figure out how to post the initial youtube videos on my own thread, could someone explain how?

You'll want to follow the link above you.

Basically:

(1) get an image link (needs to end in .jpg or .png (others too but aim for those))
(2) paste it in the reply box
(3) highlight the link and hit the image button above and to the left of the reply box (to the left of the globe and below the "B")

Like those YouTube videos, images need to be hosted by a website. The easiest is probably imgur.com.
