Hi everyone! I've been a roadgeek for as long as I can remember, though I didn't know the term until much later in life.  I stumbled across this board a while back and finally decided to join!

I'm originally from Upstate South Carolina, but moved to Kansas City, MO about six years ago.  So I'm very familiar with SC highways, especially in the Greenville area, and I'm still getting to know the roads in Missouri and Kansas outside of the KC Metro.  I love picking a highway, getting in the car, and seeing where it leads.

So anyway, hello to all of you, and see you around the board!

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Alex

Welcome to the board!

Have made several visits to Upstate SC and the Greenville area over the last 15 years.

I've been back a few times, and it's amazing how much the area has changed just in the few years since I moved.

This is where my road interest began too. Welcome to the forum from Michigan!

Welcome from Texas! I was just in your area late last year on my way to/from Minnesota and was delighted to learn my TxTag works with the Kansas toll system.

I, too, highly enjoy finding out where highways lead and what they look like.

I'll see you around on the forum.
Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

Thanks! My girlfriend and I are planning on making our next big road trip to the PNW.  Seattle and Portland are two places we've always wanted to go.

My dad used to do this with local backroads. I think that might've helped spark my interest in roads too.

Welcome from Orlando.

Need to get to finish clinching I-435 between I-35 and I-70 (west end).  Obviously the Johnson Gateway project is completed.  Last there in 16.

Hoping to get to Hutchinson ( a couple of hours west of you) to see the Kansas State Fair next September as I missed it twice do to family and money issues.  My mom passed away whom she was why I could not attend last year and this year I had other problems. Hope next Summer I can get there.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

I visited Hutch a couple of years ago to see the Cosmosphere.  Apollo 13 is one of my favorite movies and seeing the real Odyssey capsule was really cool.
