In Michigan, the I-96/Grand River Ave interchange NW of Lansing is within the I-96/I-69 north junction (which is so big it has different exit #'s in each direction)

I'd say the PA-51 interchange with US-119 is pretty completely within the (newer) Y interchange with PA-TPK - 43 just outside of Uniontown.

I don't have opinions anymore. All I know is that no one is better than anyone else, and everyone is the best at everything

That's very similar in layout to I-41/WI 29/WI 32/Shawano Ave ('Shawano Interchange') in the Green Bay, WI area and the about to be rebuilt I-39/90/I-43/WI 81/Milwaukee Rd 'Beloit' Interchange in Beloit, WI.

How about this beauty?

Aside from being a nightmare to navigate NJ 440 North to CR 514 East and CR 514 West to NJ 440 North movements are completely independent of, but inside of the "Exit 10" interchange between the NJ Turnpike, I-287, and NJ 440 (the other movements between the two roads connect to the rest of the main interchange, however).

This one in Tulsa, OK on I-244 & US 412 is that way.

Pan over even further west and see that the Sheridan Road interchange is within the freeway as well.  Though the Memorial Drive interchange here is not only in the median but within the massive I-244 & US 412 and OK 11 freeway to freeway interchange in addition.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

In Wisconsin, the I-41/WI 32 high speed directional 'T' 'Shawano Interchange' in Howard, WI (suburban Green Bay) is piggybacked over the I-41/WI 29/Shawano Ave interchange.

The about to be rebuilt I-39/90/I-43 'Beloit Interchange' in Beloit, WI will have its new directional 'T' ramps piggybacked over the I-39/90/WI 81 (Milwaukee Rd) interchange in a manner much like in the above example.

Mike

I only found this thread now but I came here to say those two.
Forget the I-41 haters

Also in the Green Bay, WI area, the SB off and NB on ramps for the I-41/US 141 (Velp Ave) interchange are 'inside' of the high-speed ramps for the I-41/I-43 'Howard Interchange' in suburban Howard.

When the southern extensions of NC 540 get built, they will meet I-40 at a new interchange that will also include the current US 70 (future I-42) interchange.

I can't wait to see that completed.
