Looks like once I complete my trip coming up, I'll be moving all the way up to 361, minus one stupid number, 272.  There is a 272 in the area of Wyoming that I was next going to make a little clinching trip to, so looks like I might have to do that in the coming weekends.

Chris
So...you won't be moving up to 361.  Just 272.  :D

Good news.  Wikipedia said PE272 was decommissioned, so I figured I couldn't get it.  But the official PEI Transportation website shows no such thing.  361, here I come.

Travel Mapping includes PE 272 in its highway data. (Nobody has yet claimed any part of that route.) The maintainer for PEI relies on the latest available shapefiles, so I would go with his take rather than Wikipedia's on whether the route still exists.

According to TM, PE 272 intersects TCH 1, about 15 km east of Charlottetown.

BTW, I've clinched WY 272, at least part of PA 272. and all of MD 272.

There's also a NY 272, which I mentioned over in the "Shortest state highways in multiple counties" thread.  It's a fairly short route at only 7.5 miles, straddling the line between my home county and favorite county for its entire length.

Rothman

Pfft.  Unshielded routes are for sissies.

VA 272 is shorter.  (1.24 miles)

I looked at the traffic volume map for PEi and it's shown there.  It's also signed on GSV.  Good enough for me.

DUN Dun dun...dun...

Well, might be as far as I'm going to get.  Given the big holes I've got to catch up to Oscar, I don't think it's going to happen.

Lowest is now 451.

As always, these are just examples of the ones I've touched, rather than a comprehensive set:

If you only ever traveled on Interstates, you'd be at the very bottom of this list, since there is no I-1. :P

Sorry, Oscar, I just checked, but in India, only NH 52 has child routes in the 5xx.
I was going to say go to India to pick up 556, 557, etc... but they don't exist :(

US 89

NM 556 is Tramway Blvd, a major arterial beltway through the northeast part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area. I'm shocked he doesn't have that already. I've even clinched it.

My coverage of the Albuquerque area is amazingly thin, especially compared to Santa Fe which I visit much more often. Basically, just the Interstates, the main Historic US 66 segment (former Business I-40), and some decommissioned parts of NM 47.

I'm going to nominate a third party to this list.
The mileage leader over on TM is Mapcat (2,300+ miles over Oscar)
I found that he has every number from 1 up to 462.
So Mapcat would be at #3 with him need 463*

*Don't know if Mapcat has traveled MS 463
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

Just returned from a trip to VA and NC.  My previous lowest-numbered route that I haven't been on was 142, but I was able to snag VA 153, VA 142, VA 149, VA 165, and NC 148 (relatively new).

So my new number is 167.

Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near US 167, and the few relatively close SR 167's are inconvenient to get to.  New Jersey's SR 167 is especially ridiculous.  Also will need 183, 184, 186, 194 to get up to 200.

I know I'm never going to be able to catch oscar.  Maybe I should focus on catching Rothman instead ...

Rothman

I am much more catchable than Oscar, given the fact my number isn't moving anytime soon (451s are a ways away) -- got other things to see and travel goals to achieve.

Sounds like a trip to Indiana is in order.

Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

Mississippi 463 is the one I have that number as well. Also, Arkansas 463 isn't far from I-555, and Loop 463 goes around Victoria, Texas.

As for 451, my entry is a Farm-to-Market road in northeastern Texas. I'm missing a lot of little 5-10 mile SRs in the greater Orlando area, where SR 451 (Toll) can be found.

CNGL-Leudimin

Okay, it seems the lowest numbered route I haven't been on yet is still 18. The official map of the province of Teruel shows the road marked as TE-18 in OpenStreetMap and TE-19 elsewhere as TE-10. It also shows a TE-18 about as far from me as it gets, that road shows up as TE-31 in OpenStreetMap and TE-32 in Google Maps. And as the map was produced by the same authority which maintains the roads, I'm going by that. So I may pop over the Pyrenees to D18 in the French Department no. 64 (Pyrenees Atlantiques) (which has already given me a 24), however it may be easier for me to reach the other end of Aragon (freeway almost all the way).
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Picked up 479, 499, 504, and 545 over the past two weeks, so 549 is now my lowest-untraveled number.

TBKS1

Update 10.05.2021

My lowest is still 39, even though I have a picture of the Arkansas route shield, but it's not the same thing. If I did get it, my next lowest would be 47. I have a photo of MO 47 but again, not the same thing.

39, 47, 48, 54, 56, 58, 68, 83, 94 and 97 are still missing under 100 for me.
I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.
