Title: Bridgeport, CA - Wooden Bridge under reconstruction
Post by: M3100 on November 26, 2020, 12:26:21 AM
We visited this in August 2020; this Bridgeport is in Nevada County.  It is not on any major highway; it is a few miles from California SR 20 and SR 49.  (This is not the Bridgeport on US 395).

We arrived around the time the lightning-caused wildfires were starting to grow in this general area, and we had to return via a different route than planned, due to SR 49 being closed for firefighting and evacuations.

I was about to say, I don't remember a wooden bridge in (Mono County) Bridgeport.
