Active Roadways atop of Dams

I didn't see a previous thread regarding the topic of roads atop of dams, someone correct me if I didn't find it using the search function.  Roads atop dams used to be a fairly common feature seen on roadways and have become far less so in modern times.  Certainly the likely most famous example would be former US 466/US 93 over Hoover Dam (which can still be driven across) but I'm more interested in active roadways atop dams.  I encountered two roads atop dams today out in Sierra National Forest:

1.  Mckinley Grove Road atop of Wishon Dam in Sierra National Forest.

2.  Courtright Dam Road atop the namesake structure also in Sierra National Forest

Both examples above are fairly primitive roadways but definitely are open for public access, what else is out there?

The local example that comes to mind is CA 88 running across the Caples Lake dam, between the Kirkwood ski area and Carson Pass.

CA 88 used to also cross the Silver Lake dam a few miles to the west of there; according to CAHighways.org that was corrected with a new bridge around 2000.

I haven't been to it in a few decades to give a first-hand account, but the Conklingville Dam, which holds back the water to form New York's Great Sacandaga Lake, has a public road atop it.  At least Google still seems to route traffic across it and labels it Conklingville-Lynwood Road.
Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

Also what about formerly active roads atop dams?

The road across Lavon Dam in Collin Co was closed a good while back.

The road across Optima Dam near Optima, OK was closed because the guardrail needed replacement and they didn't want to spend the money on it. Also its worth noting that this lake never filled. This was considered a huge government goof-up.

Near Lake Dallas, TX: SH 24 (Predecessor to US 380) once ran across the top of the now-abandoned Garza Dam, which held back Lake Dallas before the lake was expanded to create Garza-Little Elm Reservoir. The name was later changed to Lewisville Lake.https://www.google.com/maps/@33.1166102,-96.9911826,361m/data=!3m1!1e3

Easy. My preferred route to bypass the predatory screw-the-out-of-stater tolls of Maryland and Delaware: US 1 atop the Conowingo Dam.

US 89

The biggest one in Utah is US 191 over Flaming Gorge Dam:

The other state highway example on a major Utah dam is SR 158 over the top of Pineview Dam. There are also a few minor ones like SR 78 over Chicken Creek Dam, but that's so insignificant I don't think it counts.

In Arkansas there are many 2-lane state and 1 U.S. highways running across many of the USACE dams,

AR-59 runs across Trimble Lock and Dam (13) between Sebastian and Crawford Counties. Functions as the de-facto I-49 connector to AR-549 running through Chaffee east of Ft. Smith/Barling.

AR-187 runs across Beaver Dam in Carroll County.

AR-178 runs across Bull Shoals Dam between Marion and Baxter Counties.

AR-177 runs across Norfork Dam in Baxter County.

AR-5 runs across Greer's Ferry Dam in Cleburne County. This dam was the last thing that JFK dedicated before his untimely demise.

AR-60 runs across Toad Suck (it's really the name, look it up) Ferry Lock and Dam (8) between Perry and Faulkner Counties.

US-79 runs across Emmett Sanders Lock and Dam (4) in Jefferson County near Pine Bluff.

Incidentally, Missouri and Oklahoma have roads going across some of their USACE dams as well.

Little Rock has a pedestrian/biking bridge that runs across Murray Lock and Dam (7).

US 191 over Flaming Gorge is pretty cool.  I featured it on my own page fairly recently.

I wouldn't mind driving that some day. Wasn't there a widening project over the dam, or was that some other construction project?

US 221 on the Strom Thurmond Dam between South Carolina and Georgia.

US 21 in Columbia SC runs atop what is (or was) a private dam. This caused a prolonged highway closure when the dam failed after a flood, since the homeowners association that owned the dam couldn't afford to fix it, and SCDOT couldn't legally pay for repairs on a private dam. The highway did reopen after a few years (and I was finally able to go back and complete my clinch of US 21), but I don't know how the legal issue was resolved. I understand there are other SCDOT-maintained roads that are (or were) atop private dams.

There's a park road in Hempstead Lake State Park that runs along a dam at the south end of the park's namesake.

I want to say Mill Dam Road in Centerport, but that's not really a dam. It's just a causeway.

A sidewalk between the German Garden neighborhood and Yaphank Beach dams Upper Yaphank Lake.

Yaphank Avenue (Suffolk CR 21) dams Lower Yaphank Lake.

Victory Boulevard (Suffolk CR 56) dams up the Carman's River at Smith Point County Park.

Between Center Moriches and East Moriches, there's a big sidewalk over the Terrell River on the north side of Montauk Highway (Suffolk CR 56) that looks like it's wide enough to drive a small car on. It almost makes you think that this might've been the original Montauk Highway there.

And of course, you've got Dam Road between South River Road and Forge Road, which dams up the Peconic River in Calverton, creating Peconic Lake.

I don't know if the dam has a name, but US-40 runs across the Stillwater River dam in Englewood, Ohio (just outside Dayton). The dam creates the reservoir to the north of the road, although the water isn't plainly visible from the road.

Well crap, how long ago did US-62 stop running along the top of the Kentucky Dam?

That used to be a favorite route for local truckers wishing to avoid the weigh scales on I-24.
