I thought this might be kind of fun to do.  The ones that I can think of offhand are M-27 (former US-27) from north of Indian River to Cheboygan in Michigan, M-10 in Detroit (former US-10), CA-99 (former US-99) in California, Oklahoma and Arizona have portions of U.S. Route 66 that are now state highway 66's, and Oregon has Org. 99E + 99w, (former US-99E + 99W).

This one may or may not count (you be the judge), but US-466 in California is now CA-46, just removing one of the sixes. :coffee:

US 230, US 309, and US 611 all went to PA state routes. US 222 south of Conowingo, MD got reduced to MD 222.

Md. 140 between Baltimore and Westminster used to be US 140.  (Above Westminster, I believe 140 went up to Gettysburg on what is now Md./Pa. 97, whereas Md. 140 keeps going west-northwest.)  Md. 213 on the Eastern Shore mostly matches old US 213.  Parts of US 15 are now NY 15.  Are Pa. 120 and Pa. 106 former US routes?

Just for CA, all of US 299, and parts of US 60 and US 91.

Correct.

Yes, though former US 106 ran a lot farther than today's PA 106.

Back on topic, in Minnesota we have MN 61 and MN 65, both former extensions of the respective US routes, though US 65 only went as far as US 2 and then only for a couple years.

Wasn't MN 210 another former US highway?

MN also has some of old US 16 as MN 16 now, one that Wisconsin shares as well.  Though in Wisconsin's case, the entirety of US 16 in the state is now WI 16.

If I remember correctly, WI 110 started life as a short-lived US hwy between Fremont and Oshkosh.  The US highway changes in the last decade have removed WI 110 from all but a tiny, and arguably unnecessary, segment of the historic US 110 routing.  Really it should only exist north of Weyauwega.

A few examples from Kansas (there are possibly others):

*  K-383--former US 383.

*  K-154 (now no longer extant, having been supplanted by US 400)--former US 154.

*  K-156--former US 156.

There is an example in the other direction:  much of former K-96 east of Wichita is now under US 400.

Part of AR 59 was once US 59.

MO 66, OK 66, K-66 were all US 66

I think there's an OK 270 that was once US 270.

And MN 371 too, for that matter...yet another I forgot earlier.

But unlike MN 371 (all of which was part of US 371), the former US 210 only occupied part of today's MN 210...from Motley over to Carlton.

Old US 25 in Ohio is only marked now by Ohio 25 south of Bowling Green north to Toledo...the rest of the way down to Cincinnati, various incarnations of County Road 25A

Old US 21 is now Ohio 21 from I-77/I-480 in Cuyohoga Heights south to US 250.  The rest of old US 21 is a mix of county roads and one Ohio route  (Oh 821, approx 48 miles between Ohio 60 and I-77)

WA-99 replaces the US-99 routing through the Seattle/Tacoma area, there's a short WA-10 in central washington that was part of US-10.  WA-410 over US 410.  I think that's it, unless I'm forgetting something in eastern WA.

Part of US 227 in Kentucky (from near Georgetown to Carrollton) became KY 227. The portion from Paris to White Hall became KY 627.

This, other than the overlapped part of US 460 that ran concurrently with US 60 from Frankfort west to Louisville, is the only decommissioned US route I can think of in the Bluegrass State. And 227 probably bit the dust because it was less than 300 miles and only was in one state.

VA 360 is a weird case - US 360 was realigned and the old route became a state route.

That's definitely one of the weirdest:

To add another: US 104 --> NY 104.

That type of sign would be useful at the point just north of Wilmington, Del., where US 202 (coming from the north) gets onto I-95 and the old 202 continues into the city as Del. 202.  Although I was there the other day and they just sign the route into Wilmington as "Wilmington," without the number, so at least people aren't having to choose between two different "202 South"s....

Someone mentioned Md. 222; at the other end of US 222, there's a Pa. 222 - at I-78, US 222 now ends and the old route into Allentown is Pa. 222.

This one is in reverse, but in c.1938, M-131 from west of Fife Lake to Petoskey in Michigan became an extention of US-131. :coffee:

Don't forget, K-66 and MO-66 are also parts of old US 66.

Somewhat similar to the VA example, OK-270 is an old alignment of US-270 before the US route was shifted to follow I-40.

NM & AZ 80 were part of US 80 until 1989.
TX SH 290 was US 290 until I-10 supplanted it.
TX SH 75 & TX SH 81 were once parts of US 75 & US 81 until being replaced by I-45 & I-35 respectively.
