Old alignments as multiples/divisor routes

What used to be OH 8 from Canton to Fly, OH is now OH 800. (New = old x 100)


While not a multiple, on a similar vein:
Part of the old alignment of US 43 between Columbia and Mt. Pleasant is now TN SSR 243.

at one point, in order to get people to use the new I-70 freeway, Ohio DOT moved US-40 onto I-70 and renumbered the old route as OH-440.  Then after a few years they moved it back.

This multiply by 11 thing seems somewhat common, judging from this thread.

Multiplying by 11 is not really what I was after - it's just doubling the first numeral of an x0 or single-digit route. Same with multiplying by 10. I'd call those trivial cases.

Some Minnesota instances that may or may not qualify:

- What began as Constitutional Route 8 (and was originally signed as MN 8 ) largely became US 2.
- In the "multiples-of-10-and-then-some" category, what was originally MN 3 between Breckenridge and Staples became MN 210 ca. 1955.
- Original, Constitutional Route 7 (signed as MN 7) largely became US 14.
- MN 80 is an original alignment of old US 16.
- In the "reverse-of-10" category...we have a case where a multiple of 10 became the smaller number.  Original MN 240 ran from Annandale to Clear Lake.  It became part of an extended MN 24 (which originally ran Litchfield to St. Cloud, then later Litchfield to MN 15) ca. 1962.
- Part of Constitutional Route 54 (original MN 54) became MN 27 in 1934.
- What was originally MN 272 between Marshall and Morgan is now part of MN 68.

Illinois has IL 250 as an old US 50 alignment in the eastern half of the state.

MO 350 was once an alignment of US 50.

CLARIFICATION:
When I mentioned TN 243, I said it was a similar to what Alps wants but not the same.  TN 243 like PA 760 are new numbers that contain the old number like a 3di contains the parent interstate.

I have created this thread to handle US 43 to TN 243, PA 60 to PA 760, etc.

All of I-72 west of Decatur follows US-36, but 36 is still signed.
Davenport, IA -> Valparaiso, IN -> Ames, IA -> Orlando, FL -> Gainesville, FL -> Evansville, IN

how about a hexadecimal example?  MA-2A is an old alignment of MA-2.  0x2 times 0x15 is 0x2A.  

1 -> 1A is trivial.  3 -> 3A doesn't work.  I think 1 and 2 are the only suffixed routes in MA for which this currently works, but there used to be a US-5A in the 1930s that was an old alignment of US-5.  Brilliant!

(yes, that is the only suffixed US route in Mass. history - most of the time the A's become state routes - including US-5A becoming MA-5A after a few years.)
