NC route detour signage where NC 16 leaves US 421 in Wilkesboro.  (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10220242253047008&set=a.10220242338649148)

On 6th St in North Wilkesboro just north of US 421 BUS/NC 18/NC 268 (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10220242266727350&set=a.10220242338649148)

This is on US Route 2 at the Idaho and Montana border. I don't think I've seen a sign that actually said state line: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZbUjEXdFeByQtAuR8

Much more commonly, it's a unique welcome to the state sign, as seen farther up in that capture. Sometimes, it's also a generic "Entering State," like at the Washington and Oregon state lines in a couple places, such as the Interstate 5 bridge between Vancouver and Portland.

That Idaho sign is also kind of wrong by having "standard" in there. Just have Pacific Time Zone, like the Montana side does in the other direction, except it's Mountain instead of Pacific. And what's with the hyphens?

So you're allowed to trespass before 10 pm? That wouldn't be trespassing if it's allowed, would it?

Also, am I allowed to go there at 12 AM the following day? If not, then what about 7 AM the following day? Am I just banned from ever going again after it passes 10 PM the first time I'm ever there?

I've seen similar before down here in the southeast, mostly along more minor roads/highways that have the state line marked. A few examples:

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

One of my favorite "downtown" signs was on I-880 in Hayward, CA:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/UvkRaY93Z5Y2EKuE9

"A Street Downtown" - strikes me as almost poetic. It's since been replaced by signs reading simply "A Street" (well, duh, of course it's a street).

Fairly common in Kansas where the state line falls on a bridge or some other location where installing a full-size graphical welcome sign is difficult: I-435 west, I-435 south. The standard graphical sign will then be installed a little ways down the road where it's more convenient. It helps that it pairs well with the standard "Xxxxx/COUNTY LINE" sign that Kansas uses.

It's only wrong about 7 months out of the year... unless maybe Idaho DOT changes it out for a sign stating "Entering Pacific Daylight Time Zone" during daylight savings...

Yeah, odd that they'd include "standard" time in the sign. But I've found a lot of people don't understand what "standard" or abbreviations like "PST" or "PDT" mean in this context, and use the terms incorrectly all the time.

Only place where including "standard" on a sign like this might make sense is entering Arizona or some other place that does not observe daylight savings time.
