RIP Robert D. Raiford
« on: November 20, 2017, 04:40:48 PM »

Robert D. Raiford, the "curmudgeon-at-large" on the John Boy and Billy Show, died Friday at age 89.

The time he read the bit about "felching" remains a classic.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

I agree to indemnify Belkin against unauthorized use of its MiniVak vacuum.

The only man who brought sense & sensibility to a show filled with non-sense. I may be the only one who will miss him.

God for a 5 year stretch in the mid to late 90's I don't think I missed a broadcast, including the "Best Of's".
