They narrowed the routes from 14 to 3 in 2019 and was put on the backburner due to Covid-19.  They are keeping Loop 49 close to Tyler, I am guessing to reduce mileage and costs.  They are starting up the discussions regarding eastern part of Tyler again.  The landowners in the three proposed paths are fighting it, but most of them realize they are going to put the loop where they want to.
