My son and I visited friends in Richmond last weekend.  The roads snaps are here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/steelyankee/sets/72157620949633908/

In fact, I uploaded over 800 pictures from several trips around the northeast over the last year and they are here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/steelyankee/archives/date-posted/2009/07/04/

It will be a while before I get descriptions up but at least the pictures are there.

So far, no mail has shown up from DC!  I don't think I was going much faster than 50.

We pulled into DC around Noon on Monday, and I knew I was taking a chance.  The things I do for my son, who really wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial

State-named shields and an old signal, nice!

I also saw that the only signs with the Delaware Turnpike trailblazers are still posted on Interstate 295 southbound. Glad to see that.
