Dang, that ratio is even worse than the ratio at my university. Ouch.
Tell all your female friends about how awesome road signs are! Then notice how many fewer female friends you have. Whoops.

Ah, the few of them I have already know. I just embrace it at this point. Maybe one day I'll actually be blessed with someone who cares as much about Road Sign UNO as I do.

My wife actually was the one who came up with the idea for the Sign Garden:

That's how I know she's a keeper, she has infinite tolerance for my assorted list of hobbies.
I'm sorry, but whoever arranged this forgot a lot of interstates (I-71)

76? 79? 73? 31? 7? 81? 89?

I do have a I-81 but I also have:

-  CA 76
-  US 31
-  Several variations on US 89
-  CA 7 and US 7
79, and I'm assuming you are from CA since you have hundreds?

For the moment, just one of many places I've lived.
Yeah who would want to live in CA anyways?

People who want to live within two hours of four National Parks, who want access to some of the best driving roads anywhere and were paid to do so.
It's a bunch of vegans in the desert.

Perhaps so, but I've found there was an equal amount of vegans out east but also way more boredom.

When I lived in Michigan, Illinois, Florida and Connecticut I struggled to find things to do on days off.  At least out in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico I always could go find a hike or exciting drive for the day.  Really the only State out east which I lived that had a copious amount of recreational opportunities to my liking was North Carolina.  But then again, I'm always willing to try some place new and new things.  Hell, I wouldn't have met my wife I hadn't moved to California.

To that end, I did work in Southern California twice before my current stint in the Central Valley.  I can't say that SoCal was really for me, but at least I gave it a try twice with two work assignments.  The difference from there to where I'm at now is night and day.  For the moment I'm content but I wouldn't discount the possibility of another move in the future.  Had I held a childish grudge about my previous experiences from Southern California I would be missing on a lot of good things.

So maybe there is some lessons in there for you.  It might do you well not be so one tracked and narrow minded with your approach to life.

If California was a person they would be an edgy ugly teenager who is in an open realationship.
What would Virginia be as a person?
God-emperor of Alanland, king of all the goats and goat-like creatures

LOL! Nothing to do in Florida? Where in Florida were you. Florida has beaches. Connecticut and Illinois are boring. Michigan has fishing and also is boring for the most part. Personally I don't really have any desire to move anywhere west of WV. Wisconsin is pretty. But I hate CA, ND, KS, and all of the west is a hippies wonderland. It is gross, ugly, and has no scenery. I must credit California for big waves though!

The rural Mountain West plus the ND/SD/NE/KS/OK/TX central column is a hippie wonderland?

Also, what happened to Connecticut's beaches?
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

I'm sure that guy would say something about Connecticut's Beaches. But yes, it is gross. The desert is so gross, and The Northwest is disgusting, and everywhere west of Kentucky is really  disgusting. But there are some pretty areas, but nothing west of Kansas.

And also everywhere west of Mississippi should be split up between Mexico and Canada but that would never happen.

Tampa Area, Orlando, Jacksonville (briefly) and even Key West.  I can't say flat terrain, boating and theme parks are my thing.  But I don't "hate"  any of Florida though, don't forget you're the one who used that terminology to describe a place.  At the very least I was willing to try some place new before formulating an opinion, it doesn't sounds you are capable of doing the same.

Nonetheless, we all not much more than subjective opinions and differing tastes.  If you like the East Coast that's fine.  But don't expect to have good times on a forum when you say you "hate"  place and display obvious disdain for particular groups of people.

You really have to wonder why people don't take you seriously?  Have you actually read some of the stuff you've posted?
I have and I don't understand why people won't take me seriously. Enlighten me.

I'm reasonably certain at this point that you're either too young or not intelligent enough to comprehend.  Hence my earlier suggestion that you might want to throw in the towel on the forum.  At the moment you're on the way to becoming the new TheAlan360.  The fact that you can't see it is...odd.
I won't be leaving the forum. But just because I make unrealistic highways, and that I don't like most of the U.S. I'm sorry that this is my opinions.

You're the one who is deluded enough to think people have disdain for you.  That's a you problem, the reality is that you're pretty much our feature entertainment right now.

Grand Canyon... Yellowstone... Arches... Glacier National Park...
Eww! They are all ugly and overrated. Yellowstone has a good name, because I like the color Yellow.

If you keep posting ridiculous comments like this, no one is going to take you seriously.
I don't understand why nobody wouldn't take me seriously after me stating my opinions. If someone likes gross CA, I can't change them. Nor should they. It is my opinion and it is their opinion to like the west.

We had plenty of absurd fictional highway nonsense before you.  That isn't the reason you've found yourself in this predicament.

Possibly because your opinions come off as uninformed and unfounded at best, and bigoted at worst. California is a massive state and covers a lot of different types of areas, from big cities to mountains to deserts to forests. To simply say the whole thing is "gross" pretty heavily implies that you haven't thought about your opinion for more than the time it took to type it into the post box.

I, personally, don't really like Texas, because its culture is really not my thing, some decisions its government makes are frankly scary and/or appalling to me, and I find myself getting exhausted from the more obnoxious elements of the place whenever I spend too much time there. But even then I don't think the whole state is gross. I had a blast on my trip to Port Aransas, despite getting the worst sunburn of my life. And there are lots more things to see and do in Texas that I want to experience someday, so I know I'm going to be back at some point.

The wise roadgeek knows never to voice a strong opinion of any place that's blank on their mob-rule map.

Why because my opinion doesn't align with yours? Just because I don't like the west doesn't mean I'm too young or have an IQ of 0.

It's a good thing Oklahoma doesn't have an I-144, or it would also be gross.
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.
