I've been a member here for quite some time.  At first just a lurker and then a poster.  I have my own special interests in highways such as widening projects, non-reflective button copy and state-named interstate shields to name a few.

I have to say whenever I have a question and reach out to people on here, most reply back with wonderful detailed responses and I don't see to much negative back and forth on here either.

One of these days when time permits I have to join along on a road meet.
I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!

Continuing the theme: check out Mergingtraffic's Flickr site; it's quite good (and where is that US 44 sign located?)
My first SF/horror short story collection is available: "Young Man, Open Your Winter Eye"

Thanks Kurumi!! The US-44 sign I got off eBay and I hung it at s friends' house for the pic. My I-86 and state-named RI I-195 shield are hung in the same spot.
