If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

One of the triple multiplexes you named (US 1, US 9, and US 46 in Fort Lee, NJ) contributes to a quadruple multiplex to the middle of the George Washington Bridge with I-95.

In fact, once the bridge crosses into New York, US 46 terminates and it becomes a triple multiplex again: US 1, US 9, and I-95.

Interstate 165, U.S. 90, and U.S. 98 Truck (though U.S. 98 truck is barely acknowledged) in Mobile, AL.

Interstate 20-55 and U.S. 49 in Jackson, MS.

Alabama and Florida will have a lot more depending on whether or not you want to count all of the hidden overlaps...

Triple multiplexes are everywhere - I see nothing unique about this topic, unless you focus on the US Interstates - where there are only two, the Poplar Street Bridge in St. Louis, and the Wisconsin one.

Anything else is just normal situation.

NOTE: I'm not sure if multiplexes exist outside the US or Canada, help if you can  :poke:

Missouri:
* US 50-61-67 around St. Louis from MO 267 to I-44

* I-64/US 40/US 61 from US 67 to Rte K in St. Charles County (or Lake St. Louis Blvd if you go by the mile markers)

* Business Loop 55/US 61/MO 34 in Jackson and Cape Girardeau

* BL 55/US 61-67 at Festus and Crystal City.

* BL 55/US 61-62 at New Madrid

* US 61-62/Business 60 at Sikeston

* US 60-62/MO 77 east of I-57 at Charleston

* MO 21/MO 49/MO 72 around Ironton

* Business Loop 44/US 63/MO 72 at Rolla - why MO 72 angles back east instead of following BL 44 to Exit 184 is beyond me, but I believe it will eventually head west to a new interchange west of Exit 184.

* US 60-160/MO 13 at Springfield

* MO 413/MO 248/MO 265 northwest of Branson

* I-29-35/US 71 in Kansas City

* I-70/US 40-71 in Kansas City (depending who does the signs)

* I-29/US 59-71 northeast of St. Joesph

Former
* US 40-50-60 somewhere around downtown St. Louis and the elevated section of I-70

* I-44/US 50-66

Iowa

* US 34-218/IA 27 at Mt. Pleasant

* I-380/US 218/IA 27 - I-80 to US 30

* US 30-151-218 at Cedar Rapids

* US 18-218/IA 27 from Charles City to Floyd

* US 30-59/IA 141 at Denison

* I-129/US 20-75 at Sioux City

I'm sure there are a few I've missed.

Master son brings up some good points, triple multiplexes are not that uncommon. Considering that Georgia signs the state highway counterparts, there are many instances of high-number multiplexes. Here is one that I know of off the top of my head:

Another six-way cosigning (which is now five-way since U.S. 421 was relocated):

74/171FAN

Referring to Alex's pic a continuation of the I-85 BUS/US 29/US 70 from High Point, NC with US 220 and I-40 added on
And another triplex(or dutriplex-between a duplex and a triplex):
I-95/US 460/US 460 Business East(US 460 Business West travels on Winfield Rd north of I-95)-Petersburg, VA

Re: Alex's photo of Ponce de Leon Avenue, Northeast Atlanta

I forgot about US 23 being in the mix, east of SR 42. Good pull.

QuoteTriple multiplexes are everywhere - I see nothing unique about this topic, unless you focus on the US Interstates - where there are only two, the Poplar Street Bridge in St. Louis, and the Wisconsin one.

It seems many responses overlooked the fact that the original poster was asking about three of the same type of highway sharing pavement, i.e. three U.S. routes or three Interstates and no mixing of systems.  That makes the topic a bit more unique, cause I agree that there are triple multiplexes in many locations.

In that vein, there is one such multiplex in Nevada.  US 6/50/93 are concurrent from the southeast end of Ely about 26 miles to Major's Place in White Pine County.

In the future there will be an I-69-74-465 multiplex around Indianapolis.  There might also be an I-24-66-69 multiplex east of Paducah, KY.
