Title: US 425 in Yorktown, AR (AHTD)
Post by: bugo on July 11, 2014, 07:15:40 AM
Why is US 425 a 4 lane divided highway for .8 mile through the bustling megalopolis of Yorktown, AR?  It widens to an expressway, crosses Bayou Bartholomew, then peters out into a two lane highway (with a passing lane to the north).  What was the point of this?  The rest of the road will likely never be 4 laned because of I-530.
