Today was very hot for early December. The high was 82 degrees! A couple other things of note:

- Not much rain has fallen the past few weeks. Mostly it's been partly cloudy and/or sunny.
- The mornings have been pretty foggy for at least a week now. It seems there's a week every year in late fall or early winter where the fog takes over before the sun burns it off.
- A very random rain shower akin to an afternoon summer rain made an appearance today while I was working this morning.

Only 26 at the moment and barely going to get above freezing.  Sunny, blue skies per the norm though.

Our first decent arctic punch is coming in this afternoon/tonight. Could have our first sub-zero wind chills of the season.
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

I'm in southern Indiana for work. There was a dusting of snow last night, but apparently the roads didn't get treated, because two sections of interstate are iced over to the point that they had to be closed.

Stagnantly warm and humid for at least the next 3 days with highs around 80. In direct contrast to our cooler than average summer, this fall and winter so far have been remarkably hot.

Southeastern Minnesota and the south suburbs of the Twin Cities are under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms tomorrow.

It's December 15.

Supposed to have 80 mph gusts of wind today as the big storm that just dropped a ton of snow in the Sierras is here now.  I took down the patio umbrella so it wouldn't fly away.  Now it's sleeting.
