What are some examples of the domino effect occurring on your local road network?
This isn't strictly for one instance of congestion causing another, but that is obviously the most common application.
There are countless instances of this, so let's say there has to be at least five "dominoes" involved. No twos, threes, and fours, as that will get repetitive quickly; it gets more interesting the longer the chain.

To what extent do attempts by your local DOT to "prop up" one of the dominoes, impact everything else in the chain?
To what extent do construction-related activities and closures cause the largest domino effects?
Discuss.
