Title: Here comes the classic Louisiana highways!
Post by: mcdonaat on July 18, 2012, 06:28:59 PM
The best way to get feedback is to ask the local roadgeeks who would care the most! I'm doing the Louisiana state highway pages, pre-1955. The list can be viewed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_original_highways_in_Louisiana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_original_highways_in_Louisiana), so click around on the blue links, and let me know if you have any photos, history notes, or anything worth noting, and I'll fit it into the article. I'm doing the first 98 routes right now, with routes being added in groups by legislative session.

when were state highways 103, 113, and 188 added?  reason I ask are: there are pelican shields of those surviving.

103 and 113 were added in 1926. 188 in 1928.
