The Norfolk Southern bridge over the Cuyahoga River?

(Guessing that based on the hint.)

I feel like that's one of the many railroad bridges in Northern New Jersey crossing either the Passaic or the Hackensack River, but I can't place exactly which one.

Nope

First place I looked, it screamed Amtrak...but nope.

Correct!!

Given the looks of the bridge and the angle of the Street View, I figured it would be somewhat of a challenge.

Your hint about "warm" suggested the Cuyahoga River for obvious reasons.

I'll follow up with a new one in a little while.

Ok, less than "a little while."  I took this picture in 2007.

Hint: The first vehicles to cross the bridge consisted of the funeral procession for the man after whom it is named. He died a few days before it opened.

You are correct! That face is by far the most interesting aspect. I took the picture from a boat right before passing under the bridge.

My next clue was going to involve Jimmy Carter. There's a nearby building known in Berlin as "Jimmy Carter's Smile."

Right off the bat, we have:
-Open to pedestrian traffic only
-Built in 1895 by Chicago Bridge Co. (see the top of the bridge)

I'm pretty sure I know where it is, but (a) I got the last one and so want to give someone else a chance and (b) I'm not sure I have anything any good to post until I look through various folders.

Bingo. Being in the middle of nowhere, I was expecting less people to be here, but it seems to be that the area is a popular fishing spot. Getting there was a bit of a hassle, because the route there involved going through nearby Humansville, and all the roads going in to town were blocked because the town was rigged to explode. Unsafe amounts of gasoline leaked in to the city's sewer system but has since been resolved.

1995hoo

This one is surely way too easy, but at the moment it's one of the better ones I have. I took this on September 6, 2003.
