US 93 cutout in Nevada. just south of US 6/50 -- AFAIK, only cutout for any US route in Nevada, or for US 93 anywhere:

This was replaced very recently per a text I received from Jake on 10/22/16. The replacement is a 1970 spec shield.

Non-cutout? (I'm not familiar with what 1970 spec looked like, or whether Nevada DOT ever regularly posted cutouts.)

I was surprised sign thieves didn't make off with the cutout years ago.

Just your run of the mill US highway shield. Jake's text read:
Quoteits replacement is a crappy 70 spec shield. no need for a picture

The cutout was just an oddity or a random leftover that escaped replacement far longer than its predecessors.

He also wrote that all US 50 signs were replaced on the loneliest road, with "new signs too ugly to bother with pics."

^ Definitely.  I certainly hope the sign guy wasn't being paid to manufacture this signage by the letter.

I like how the N/S arrow tab is actually mounted upside down (look closely at the S).
