Here is the next bridge to guess.  Shouldn't be too hard.

You are correct!  The bridge carries UT 95 over the Colorado river at the head of Lake Powell.

Your turn!

Swinomish Channel bridges. I return the baton of guessing to the OP. they forgot to not use something easily found on google image search. they get a mulligan.

The point is to not use Google Images and try to guess on your own. It's a game that relies on the honor system, and I'd rather not have to post blurry Street View shots for everything that I don't have in my image collection.

I didn't know this thread was still alive. I won't guess, since I have no idea, but maybe I can boost it as well by getting it on the pages again.

How does that bridge even have a name? There are probably hundreds of bridges that look exactly like this

This bridge appears to be a nameless railroad bridge in Ontario, on route ON 556, approximately 17 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  Here is a Google street view image of the area:

Did I guess correctly?

To be honest, this might have been a bit too obscure for this thread.

You guessed correctly, though I believe it is has a (generic) name, the Bellevue Valley Railway Bridge.

It is, of course, somewhat obscure. Nevertheless, I thought it to be a cool bridge and it is on the way to Searchmont which is a ski area known around the Midwest ski racing community as it is often is one of the first to open for practices.

Glad someone got it. I've been going nuts the past couple weeks trying to figure it out.

Which of the two big bridges along US 17 in Geogia is the Tallman Memorial Bridge or the Sidney Lanier Bridge?

I'm sick of guessing over these.

KellyCook, Yes I do agree your post was a very cool bridge!  Glad you posted it.  It took some ingenuity to locate it!

So, that makes it my turn to post a bridge.  I expect this one shouldn't be too difficult.  One uncommon feature this bridge has is a pedestrian pier under the actual bridge deck!  Good Luck!

I've always enjoyed this thread; hopefully it can get back going again!

By technicality this could belong here but I think the thread meant something else. Also, the Lanier carries US 17 from Brunswick, while the Talmadge carries US 17 from downtown Savannah. If it helps, the Savannah bridge towers are wider, while the Lanier's towers are narrower.

DeaconG, you are correct!  Your turn to post a bridge picture for us to guess.

Give me a bit while I dig through my pics.

I'm going to go ahead and let someone else post a pic, a lot of the pics I would post would be on Bridgehunter and it's essentially defunct, and I'm not thrilled about using the cloud.

Someone please carry on!
