Someone else can go ahead and post a picture. Interchange ramps & bridges typically aren't that interesting aside from the occasional engravings on the pillars, etc. South Dakota outdid themselves here.

Hint #1:  If I had dropped the Google Pegman on the other side of the bridge, and spun the view around to the opposite direction, then it would have been very obvious to everybody–and I mean everybody–where to start looking.

Didn't need the hint this time, just had to remember where I saw the bridge. It's the St. Charles Air Line Bridge in Chicago. Just a few blocks away from an old buddy's house.

I know exactly where this is, but I'll let folks other than me guess.

The Fremont Bridge in Portland, Oregon?

Yep that's it!

Total bizarre fluke that I got that. I've never been to Oregon, but I will be heading to Portland for business next month and I was looking at their transit authority's website for information about getting from the airport to the hotel. In the course of doing so, I saw a bridge that looked rather familiar from this thread and then decided to look at a map to figure out which one it was. Scroll down to the bottom right where it says "Biking": https://www.travelportland.com/plan/max-light-rail/

Anyway, I don't have any bridge pictures queued up and ready to play, so if someone else wants to take my turn, please go ahead.

I am quite amused to find this in my hotel room in downtown Portland:

I have a bridge I want to try. Time to get this thing rolling again.

I also would like to keep this thread going :)

I must say, however, that this bridge is really tough!  Any chance you may be willing to give us a hint?

I'll put forth a wild guess which I don't have much faith in ... The US 301 bridge over the Rappahannock River near Port Royal VA?

plain

Nope. Definitely not a bad guess though.

You'll be shocked to find out that this image is taken from the exact same facility that's in the image...

Dang!  Having been over the CBBT many times, I'm kicking myself for missing this.  "plain", great job of using a deceiving view angle :) and congrats "cockroachking"!

The only reason I got that last one was because of the hint. The north end of the CBBT happened to be the first thing I thought of when I saw the clue.

Next up:

Hint: The roadway on the bridge is 4 lanes undivided.

Given your location, I'm going to guess that's the Troy—Menands Bridge in a view similar to the one seen on Google Street View: https://goo.gl/maps/eCKkvkMDmvpFcvKD8

If you back up one step, it's the exact image.

Yep, that's it. It is not a famous bridge by any means, hence why I gave the hint right away.

If anyone else has a bridge picture to play, go ahead and post it. I'm not sure whether I have any decent ones that I haven't already used.

I finally found it. I don't know the name of it but it's a very nice pedestrian bridge in Amsterdam, NY
