I am using chrome, so I am able to right click and see the image in a new tab.  The strange thing is that onlys happens on oscar's pics.  All the other pics I am able to see normally.  I thought maybe the issue is the domain where the images reside, or possibly the size or dimensions of the images.

I'm having the same problem with Henry's posts, of images from www.billburmaster.com. Are you having the same problem with those?

I have determined that images are not displaying properly (on Chrome) from at least the following host sites:

–  http://www.billburmaster.com/   (Henry)

–  http://www.alaskaroads.com/   (oscar)

–  http://ten93.com/   (Eth)

I suppose there may be others, but those are the three I've identified.

None of them are https. Maybe that's the issue?

Wait...so Henry is Bill? I never knew that!

I didn't either ... unless the poster named Henry is just sharing lots of Bill's photos.

It's one of the hazards of a forum that doesn't require or even insist on real names (or logical variants, such as my name here) for users.

It seems that people could change their handle at will on a Usenet group, so at least there's consistency on a forum (although, that depends on an admin's willingness to permit/deny username changes). Then again, I've probably spent about 2 hours in total on Usenet, so I might be absolutely incorrect. Some people also like and prefer a layer of anonymity; though I'm sure five minutes of knowing where to peel back layers of information would revel my identity...

Then, compare that to IRC, where you chose a different username every time you logged on.  And someone could have taken yours while you were logged off.

Yes, actually I am.  I didn't notice Henry's pictures were not working until you mentioned them.  But it is only the Henry pictures from www.billburmaster.com.  He had a sign picture post, from a different domain, that is not broken.  That reinforces my theory that the picture's domain is casuing the issue.

Based on some searching, that's exactly it. This is some boneheaded "security measure" from the Google devs since AARoads is serving HTTPS pages and the images aren't also HTTPS. No shit, Google, they're from other domains; maybe look at how people use the Internet before you start writing a Web browser.

Try this, or alternatively, tell Google to piss off and stop meddling in your web browser usage and download Firefox.
