NC 111 -> Craighead County 111 along AR 91 (May 23, 2021)

I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

Craighead County

I have only opened any of the "Ask me anything about X" threads once or twice, but I would be tempted to look in on an "Ask me anything about Craighead County" thread, just because it's one of the more odd county names I've heard.  Do people in neighboring counties use "Craighead" as an insult?

Lmaooooo I honestly never thought of that

Honestly though I know nothing about Craighead county other than Jonesboro and ASU is located there... and a tornado hit it last year.

Apparently, it was named for Senator Thomas B. Craighead...though he opposed the creation of the county.

That intersection looks very different nowadays, and has looked different for probably 10+ years.
Illinois 43, again, just to show the difference
