Title: Cantrell Rd. I-430 Interchange Improvements So Far...
Post by: TheArkansasRoadgeek on December 11, 2018, 03:14:12 PM
With Arkansas having projects far and wide, I wanted to bring attention to improvements taking place with Cantrell Rd. (AR 10) and I-430 (CA061330).

Starting with CA061333 (http://www.arkansashighways.com/ProgCon/PREVIOUS%20LETTING%20PLANS/2016/Dec%202016/061333.pdf) - a ramp for westbound traffic from Cantrell to merge seamlessly with northbound traffic I-430 traffic.

*The following links are to give the reader an overview of general progress with the improvements and do not reflect my "neglect" in checking dates:

General SPUI Design:

Rodney Parham Rd. section of improvements (https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjf5riZyZjfAhVSLK0KHaObBDsQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thv11.com%2Farticle%2Fnews%2Ftraffic%2Fchanges-coming-to-cantrell-rodney-parham-following-final-public-meeting%2F91-596036836&psig=AOvVaw3BL_buyI_qAnUDOypyJxK4&ust=1544644377695793)
SPUI Option (AR 10) - Now, from my understanding, this Vimeo animation has changed over the design process. But, you may see some things have been kept and improved upon.
