I-80 and I-39 construction

I'll be making a drive out to La-Salle in about a month and I'm wondering if there are any major construction projects on either I-80 or I-39. I'll be taking I-80 between 55 and 39 and 39 south to Ogelsby.

I saw there was something going on with I-39 starting at I-88 going southbound, but I thought that was all finished :hmmm:

Barring any new projects just starting up or maintenance activites, both I-39 and I-80 should be clear.

I believe both are clear.  I can vouch for I-80 being clear - just watch for the state troopers that like to sit near I-39.  Not so sure about I-39 south of I-80.

They are working on the I-39 bridges at I-88, looks to just be expansion joint type work.  No construction to be seen south of the bridges.

Drove I-39 today, there was a message board in the Oglesby area NB with 'Road Work Begins June 3' (may not be exact text).   There appeared to be a similar message board for SB I-39 just south of I-80.

Well if need be I can get off in La-Salle and just dip south on 251. 39 tends to be notorious for back-ups whenever there is construction on it  :-/
