It's time to open the bets. What is happening at this meet? A new US Route for the first time in 17 years? I-515 dropped in favor of I-11? I-590 designated to serve my planned pie-in-the-sky development near Belvidere, Illinois? Or what else?
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Rescind approval to Kentucky and Indiana to sign the East End Crossing/Louisville as I-265

It has been multiple years since it was approved, and complete crickets from InDOT and KYTC for signing the "gap"  segment of IN 265/KY 841 as I-265

If they don't want to sign it, then it shouldn't be I-265. Unless we want "unsigned"  I-265 between signed segments of I-265

Didn't someone report recently that they had inquired of KYTC's Louisville office about this?

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

As funny as it would be if Secretary Buttigieg was turning up at the AASHTO meeting to demand US-400 be renumbered or something, it's more likely he's just there for a photo op and/or to give a speech.

If he's going to demand anything, it would be to have South Bend signed as a control city on the Indiana Toll Road.

One of my favorite things about this forum is not being able to discern reliably between sincerity and sarcasm.

Maybe he was there to get the fall meeting decisions of the US Route Numbering Committee in person since they haven't even published the ones from the spring meeting yet on their website. :D The committee meeting was held the first day, on Oct. 19.

It was sarcasm, yet I could also see him sarcastically mentioning it.
