- If Hillary Clinton won in 2016, it would've been the first time that two presidents have had sex with each other. Unless.....
Unless what?

Unless two other Presidents did it and never told us about it. Try and keep up, okay?
I wonder which other two would be the most likely.

What if you roll a 22 and then a 24? Would that count?

If Hillary Clinton won in 2016, it would've been the second time that two presidents have had sex with each other (the 42nd president and the would-be 45th president), assuming Grover Cleveland (the 22nd president) at some point "took care of himself" (the 24th president).

Memorial Day 2021

"Just a Common Soldier (A Soldier Died Today)"
by A. Lawrence Vaincourt (1987)
http://vaincourt.homestead.com/common_soldier.html

Quote
He was getting old and paunchy, and his hair was falling fast.
And he sat around the Legion, telling stories of the past,
Of a war that he had fought in and the deeds that he had done
In his exploits with his buddies; they were heroes, every one.

And tho' sometimes, to his neighbors, his tales became a joke,
All his Legion buddies listened, for they knew whereof he spoke.
But we'll hear his tales no longer, for old Bill has passed away,
And the world's a little poorer, for a soldier died today.

He will not be mourned by many, just his children and his wife,
For he lived an ordinary and quite uneventful life.
Held a job and raised a family, quietly going his own way.
And the world won't note his passing, though a soldier died today.

When politicians leave this earth, their bodies lie in state,
While thousands note their passing and proclaim that they were great.
Papers tell their whole life stories, from the time that they were young.
But the passing of a soldier goes unnoticed and unsung.

Is the greatest contribution to the welfare of our land
A guy who breaks his promises and cons his fellow man?
Or the ordinary fellow who, in times of war and strife,
Goes off to serve his country and offers up his life?

A politician's stipend and the style in which he lives
Are sometimes disproportionate to the service that he gives.
While the ordinary soldier, who offered up his all,
Is paid off with a medal and, perhaps, a pension small.

It's so easy to forget them for it was so long ago
That the old Bills of our country went to battle, but we know
It was not the politicians, with their compromise and ploys,
Who won for us the freedom that our country now enjoys.

Should you find yourself in danger, with your enemies at hand,
Would you want a politician with his ever-shifting stand?
Or would you prefer a soldier, who has sworn to defend
His home, his kin and country, and would fight until the end?

He was just a common soldier and his ranks are growing thin,
But his presence should remind us we might need his like again.
For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part
Is to clean up all the troubles that the politicians start.

If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days.
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say:
Our country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.

I just got passed by a Houghton County sheriff's cruiser near mile marker 101 in Oakland County on I-75. Houghton county is 500 miles from here.

I just drove home from Detroit and stopped in Flint at the Speedway gas station on Miller and I-75. While I was in line the girl behind me was talking to someone on her phone telling the person on the phone that she was going to shoot her, she didn't get her CPL just to carry and she was going to harm whoever it was. I just ignored her since I didn't want to get involved and she gets off the phone and goes sorry yall had to hear that and some lady behind her goes oh I know how you feel blah, blah, blah. I'm thinking get me the hell outta here.

Then I go outside and there is a fight going on at the Applebee's next door. I just shook my head and thought I'm getting back on I-75 and getting the hell outta here.

If a river is impounded by either a dam or naturally to form a lake, at what point upstream does the lake stop being the lake and start being the river?  I guess the question in terms of flow direction should be, at what point does the river stop and the lake begin when entering a lake formed by the impounding of the river you are currently traveling on?

A former pastor of mine had moved here from Houghton.  While pastor in Houghton, he performed baptisms in Lake Superior.  You gotta be really committed to go under those waters!

I would assume the point where the elevation of the river meets the elevation of the reservoir.

Because the water is still only a couple degrees above freezing?

for shits and giggles, i called one of the 'social security is suspended' numbers, from my google number. first thing it said was 'while you wait, here's some offers you might be interested in...press 1 for (travel stuff) press 2 for (credit card stuff) press 3 for (car warranty stuff), or press # to be connected to an agent'
clinched:
