- I just found out the number following a the name of a movie theater indicates how many screens are inside.

That was not always the case.  In the 1970s, the number referred to the screen number at the theater.  Theaters had a lot less screens then so they did it that way.

Back when people played marbles, you would get to keep marbles out of someone's collection if you won the game ("playing for keeps"). If something was for all of the marbles it was an important game where you got to keep all of the marbles.
